Scope & Platform Jurisdiction
This Privacy Policy applies to all individuals accessing or using the services provided by CoverMantra Services Private Limited (CIN: U46109DL2024PTC438732). CoverMantra operates as a digital Lending Service Provider (LSP). We do not underwrite loans or collect deposits directly; your financial information is handled solely for facilitating credit access with our RBI-registered lending partners.
Data Collection & Bureau Verification
To evaluate loan eligibility, we collect identity data (Name, PAN, Date of Birth, Gender), contact details (Phone Number, Email, Address, Pincode), and employment details (Employment Type, Monthly Income, Company Name). Initial eligibility checks utilize soft credit queries which do not impact your bureau score. Hard credit inquiries are executed solely when you proceed to an individual partner application.
Partner Sharing & Statutory KYC Forwarding
CoverMantra transfers your verified information to selected RBI-regulated Banks and NBFCs only upon your explicit instruction and consent. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to non-partnered third parties. Lending partners process your application under their individual statutory privacy and underwriting charters.
Cookie Governance & Telemetry
We utilize security and performance cookies to maintain authenticated user sessions, prevent automated robotic abuse, and monitor API latency. Users may adjust browser cookie permissions at any time, though essential session security cookies remain mandatory for authenticated loan applications.
Borrower Rights & Consent Revocation
In adherence to the Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act, 2023, you hold the legal right to review, update, or rectify personal records. You may also withdraw electronic consent or submit an account deletion request through our dedicated privacy portal at any time.
Data Encryption & Infrastructure Architecture
All network transmissions are protected using 256-bit TLS/SSL cryptographic encryption. Data at rest is encrypted in Tier-IV Indian data centers complying with RBI data localization mandates. Sensitive financial tokens, OTPs, and authentication keys are protected through hardware security modules (HSMs).
Phishing & Anti-Fraud Advisory
CoverMantra representatives will NEVER request your banking passwords, UPI PINs, Aadhaar OTPs, or advance cash deposits via email, SMS, or phone. All statutory loan processing fees are deducted directly from the loan disbursal by the lender and are never demanded in advance.
Governing Law & Regulatory Authority
This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of the Republic of India and the statutory directives of the Reserve Bank of India (RBI). Any legal dispute arising under this policy shall fall within the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of New Delhi, India.
